To build God's church by loving our neighbour through prayer, service and by sharing the gospel
about us
THE CHURCH IS OPEN FOR REGULAR WORSHIPPING
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU
St Thomas' Church occupies a remote, quiet but beautiful location within the scattered rural community of Navestock. Most services use the Book of Common Prayer with its traditional language that has formed the staple diet of the Church of England for generations. The music is usually traditional hymns led by a small choir and organ or more recently by an amazing 'digital hymnal'! People looking for a quiet, reflective style of worship will find a natural home at St Thomas's but the church also prides itself on having occasional services of a quite different nature which attract people from far and wide.
The regular Sunday service starts at 6.30pm.
There are different services each week - please consult the calendar/events list to see which one is happening on any given Sunday

NOTICES
FRIENDS of St THOMAS' NAVESTOCK
St Thomas's is a beautiful, ancient church : within its walls can be found much of the 'story of Navestock'. It is open to all and serves the whole community.
Sadly it is expensive to maintain and run as a living church. The cost falls on the very small congregation and people who generously come to events.
'The Friends' has been set up to help with these costs and to let more people know what a treasure Navestock has and what it has to offer. To become a Friend of St Thomas's Navestock we request a small annual donation.
We will:
· send you a colour copy of the guide to the church
· keep you informed about what is going on
· invite you to informal, interesting gatherings.
To find out more, please contact: Keith Gardner, email: keith@thegreenwood.me.uk or telephone: 01708 688576
There is a leaflet which can be completed to apply to be a ‘Friend’ (Please note that the leaflet is meant to be folded into three)
